Online Program Description
 The five courses that comprise the Vacuum Technology Online Certificate are intended for those who have a technical degree in other subject matter and desire to obtain the skill set necessary to function as a Vacuum Technician. The core courses offer learning opportunities in process control, all aspects of vacuum technology, deposition of Thin films, and an overview os semiconductor processing.
Labs for online classes are scheduled for condensed delivery over several days to minimize travel for distance learners.

- NANO 1292 Introduction to Vacuum Technology 3 cr.
- NANO 2293 Vacuum Analysis and Trouble Shooting 4 cr.
- NANO 2297 Thin Film Deposition 4 cr.
- NANO 1294 Introduction to Semiconductor Processing 3 cr.
